RIGHTO so I’m rebooting my tumblr. Why not just continue it? And why not just leave it be? Well, when I started the tumblr, I always had a story in the back of my head I wanted to get to. It was a serious story, even a little sad, but the mood never really materialized for it, nor really did the style support it. The tumblr was just a bunch of goofy one-liners or fart jokes and the like. And then I decided to just stop, 3 months ago.

But I never got to do my story…

Well, this time, I’m going to be going into it with that in mind. Things’ll be done differently this time. I still have to work out some of those things - I might not do giftart like I did, or crossovers either - those distracted from the tumblr, took time to draw and all that.

NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, my friends are supportive and we’ll all get through this. Buckle up.

Sharing this at an odd hour so hopefully most people don't see this.

What I’m writing here’ll make more sense if you read what I linked up there (also written by me).

The gist of it is - I’ve probably gone a bit further than I meant to with the pony thing, and I’ve stretched myself a little too thin drawing the same thing, all the time, month after month, when I intended to learn new things a long time back. I’ve been working really hard to get this tumblr noticed - and now that that’s happened, I’m a little burnt out.

This is probably just going to turn into a small break from here - I don’t know if I’ll be able to draw the Christmas update I wanted at this point…it’s just so unappealing to me right now. We’ll see what develops.

I have been stewing over some lovely little Christmas stories today, but sadly family affairs are keeping me from the tablet. Well, that isn’t really a sad thing, the main point is, Christmas updates might be starting later tonight and finishing tomorrow…better Nate than lever, though, as they say. Merry Christmas!

I’ve never had a snowy Hearth’s Warming…

Pinkamena says it’s because we live in earth pony country. There aren’t any pegasus ponies to bring the weather out. It’s why this place is just one big, depressing desert. I don’t like it much here.

I’ve heard of snow before. White, glowing, angelic. Everything soft, brand new. Maybe…maybe it could, just for a little while, make this place beautiful. Give it some life. Make it…someplace I could love.

I’ve never had a snowy Hearth’s Warming.

But…if there were ever a time for a little miracle, wouldn’t it be tonight, of all nights?
